Reflections Holiday Parks have teamed up with First Aid Accident & Emergency to install 36 x HeartSine 360p Defibrillator Packs, the Reflections Holliday Parks management team has also used our online training video to train staff and have had a successful resuscitation. 

The rollout of specially designed caravan Defibrillator packs started in mid-2018, with 11 packs going to key parks. Then on the 19th of December 2018, a serious incident happened on a beach near one of the parks, the Reflections management team jumped into action, and a 15 year old girl was resuscitated with one of our HeartSine 360p Defibrillators.

A statement from Nick Foster – Reflections Holiday Parks HSE Manager, sums up the situation:

“Good Morning Everyone, as the year comes to an end we have had a series of events in the past week or so that reinforces the need for a high level of emergency preparation. One of these events involved a successful resuscitation which we are proud to share. On Wednesday 19^th December a young woman had a seizure which resulted in her heart-stopping nearby to the Corindi Beach park. Thankfully, there was a quick response from a group of people including our Park Manager Jason Doyle from Corindi Beach, who was able to attend to her straight away, call 000 and start CPR. Jason was able to use our Defibrillator to perform a successful resuscitation on the young girl. A truly wonderful outcome and well done to the team at Corindi Beach”.

After the successful resuscitation of the young girl, the Reflections Holiday Park management team decided to implement Defibrillators for every Reflections park. and the additional 25 Caravan Park Defibrillator packs were ordered.
