Kokoda Challenge - First Aid Course
First Aid Accident & Emergency are proud to offer all competitors and team support crew of the 2009 Kokoda Challenge a professionally tailored Kokoda Challenge First Aid Course and kits.
As a locally owned and managed First Aid Training Company, FAAE will donate $10 back to the Kokoda Challenge for every course participant.

Kokoda Challenge First Aid Course details:
Cost: $65 per person
Course Duration: approximately 3 hrs
Kokoda Team First Aid Kit: $24.50 (carry on trek)
The Kokoda Challenge First Aid course is designed to enable you to treat yourself and other trekkers whilst in wilderness situations. The course covers a range of injuries, accidents, hydration and fatigue management, also any suspected bites or stings you may encounter throughout the duration of an eco challenge.

- Soft Tissue injuries – sprains, strains, bruising

Kokoda Challenge First Aid Kit
Kokoda Challenge First Aid Kits are $24.50 each and include-
- Blister dressings
- Wound dressings
- Eye and wound irrigation
- Tweezers
- Alcohol swabs
- Compression bandage for snake bites and soft tissue injuries
- Burn aid cream
- Iodine pads for anti infection control
- Antiseptic cream
- Sterile Needles
This kit is ideal for trekking or advanced adventure racing.
The kits can be ordered via e-mail and paid for via EFT or cheque.
